Polar Analytics talks to Shopify brands. Its connectors page opens by addressing your Shopify store, and when it lists the core sources that connect natively with one click, it names Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Central, Recharge and TikTok. WooCommerce is not on that list. For tools outside it, Polar points to its AI Data Engineer, which builds a connector from a tool’s API, and notes that some connectors may carry an additional cost.
That may work, but it means your store, the source everything else in Polar is built on, comes in through a custom connector rather than the native path. Polar’s pricing is not listed on the website, so you will need a demo to learn what that costs. If you would rather start with WooCommerce as a standard connection, these five do.
1. Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports has a WooCommerce setup wizard that pulls your full order history and chains subscriptions managed inside WooCommerce. It is the closest match here to Polar’s cohort and LTV reporting, though it has far fewer dashboard and BI options. Under $2.5 million in annual revenue, Measure is $499 a month, Scale is $699 and Maximize is $999. Its help docs allow one WooCommerce store per account.
2. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric is an e-commerce attribution tool for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and custom stores, with a direct WooCommerce integration. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) Every plan includes multi-touch attribution, server-side tracking, post-purchase surveys, and product and customer reports. Pricing is published and based on monthly pageviews, from $99 a month for 50,000. It is narrower than Polar. There is no Snowflake warehouse and no general BI layer for blending finance or support data, so if you bought Polar for the warehouse, ThoughtMetric replaces the attribution piece rather than the whole stack.
3. Triple Whale
Triple Whale is the most direct Polar competitor on this list, with dashboards, custom metrics and an AI assistant called Moby. It added WooCommerce as a beta integration in September 2024. A free plan lets you see your data, and paid plans are priced by annual GMV on 12-month terms. Confirm how much of the attribution side runs on WooCommerce before committing to a year.
4. Northbeam
Northbeam takes WooCommerce orders through its Server API, built by your developer alongside its pixel. Starter at $1,500 a month is described as month-to-month pricing for Shopify brands, so WooCommerce stores are pointed to Professional or Enterprise on annual terms. It brings modeled view-through credit and media mix modeling, which only pay off at high ad spend.
5. Google Analytics 4
GA4 is free, connects through a WooCommerce plugin or tag manager, and can export to BigQuery if you want a warehouse of your own. That last part is the closest free substitute for Polar’s Snowflake database, though you build the models yourself. For paid social it undercounts, so use it as a baseline.
Decide which part of Polar you need
Polar is several products in one. Its pricing page lists business intelligence with multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing with a dedicated data scientist, Klaviyo audience syncing, conversion APIs for Meta and Google, and a headless MCP for AI assistants. Most WooCommerce stores I talk to want one or two of those. If it is attribution, any of the first four tools above covers it. If it is a warehouse with blended finance data, you are looking at a BI build, and GA4 plus BigQuery or a dedicated BI tool is the honest comparison.
Whichever you trial, compare a week of orders against WooCommerce with refunds and cancelled orders included, and place a test order with caching on. Those two checks catch most WooCommerce tracking problems in the first few days.
