Polar Analytics pricing is not listed on the website. To get a number, you need to book a demo. That is the honest answer, and I would be wary of any Polar figure you see quoted elsewhere without a date and a source, since numbers for Polar that circulate online have not held up well over time.
What does each Polar Analytics plan include?
While prices are not public, Polar’s help center does describe what each plan includes. Analyze is the base plan, with the full platform, its business intelligence features, the Ask Polar AI assistant, benchmarks, alerts, unlimited users, unlimited historical data, unlimited connectors, and onboarding with a customer success manager.
Analyze and Enrich adds intraday data refresh, the Polar first-party pixel, sales forecasts, a dedicated Slack channel, and a pixel solutions engineer. Analyze, Enrich and Activate adds a Conversion API enhancer and a Klaviyo flow enricher. The pixel point matters most. If you want Polar for attribution, you are shopping for the second plan at minimum, not the base plan.
How do you get a useful Polar quote?
Go into the demo with your numbers ready: the last 12 months of sales, the number of stores and currencies, which ad platforms you run, and whether you need the pixel. Ask for the monthly price on each plan, whether annual billing changes it, how the price changes as you grow, and whether intraday refresh or incrementality testing cost extra. Get the answers in writing, because the follow-up proposal is the only reliable number you will have.
Also ask about contract length and cancellation terms. A lower monthly price on a 12-month commitment can cost more over a year than a higher one you are free to leave, especially if you are still testing whether the tool fits.
Is Polar Analytics worth it?
Polar is strongest as a reporting layer for brands that want custom dashboards, many connectors, and multi-store views without hiring a data team. Its multi-store setup is genuinely good, with one-click store connections and views that show each store and the total. If what you mainly need is attribution, compare the Analyze and Enrich quote against attribution-first tools, because you may be paying for BI features you will not use. I covered that case in Polar Analytics alternatives when you only need attribution.
What do alternatives with published pricing cost?
If you would rather start from a public number, ThoughtMetric lists its pricing by monthly pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000, with every feature on every plan, including post-purchase surveys, which do not appear in Polar’s plan descriptions. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) Wicked Reports starts at $499 a month for brands up to $2.5 million in annual revenue. Northbeam lists Starter at $1,500 a month and Professional at $3,500. Lifetimely, for LTV and profit reporting, starts at $79 a month for up to 500 Shopify orders. ThoughtMetric also publishes a Polar comparison.
A published price is not automatically better. It does make it easier to compare tools before you spend an hour on a demo, and it tells you the price will not move because of how a sales call went.
Why doesn’t Polar publish its pricing?
I can only guess at the reasons, but quote-based pricing is common for platforms whose cost to serve varies a lot between customers, and it gives sales teams room to package plans. For buyers the effect is the same either way. You cannot compare Polar on price until you have spent time on a call.
What should you budget beyond the subscription?
Factor in setup time. Polar handles much of the connector work, but someone on your team still has to define metrics, build the views you want, and check that the numbers match Shopify. If you plan to use the pixel, budget a few weeks to validate it against your ad platforms before relying on it. If you run more than one store, ask whether the quote covers all of them or each separately, and whether it is locked for the term or can change at renewal.
When you compare quotes, put every option on one sheet: monthly price at your size today, price after a year of growth, contract length, which plan includes the pixel or attribution, and setup hours. Polar often wins on dashboards and connectors and is harder to compare on attribution alone, so weight the rows by what you need.
