Growing stores, one honest take at a time.

Hyros alternatives for agencies

Hyros has built a real agency channel. Its partner program pays agencies 40 percent for life on every client they refer, and it runs a directory of Hyros-certified agencies. For an agency, that revenue share can matter as much as the product. The friction is pricing. Hyros now quotes a custom price on a setup call that follows the revenue it tracks for each business, so every new client starts with a sales conversation before you can scope the engagement.

Hyros also serves info products, coaching, and call-based businesses, and much of its design reflects that. Agencies whose clients are mostly Shopify brands selling physical products often want something closer to e-commerce. These four fit that work. For a wider look, see Hyros competitors for e-commerce brands.

1. Northbeam

Northbeam‘s Growth plan is sold through its agency partners. It targets seven-figure brands spending under $200,000 a month on ads and includes full attribution access, the Northbeam MCP, and creative, strategy, and media buying support from a preferred Northbeam agency partner, with preferred pricing built into the agency engagement. For an agency that wants to become a Northbeam partner, that is a structured path. Above it, Starter is listed at $1,500 a month and Professional at $3,500. I covered the agency side in Northbeam alternatives for agencies.

2. Wicked Reports

Wicked Reports runs an agency partner program and a partner directory, and its outbound API pushes attribution data into data warehouses and client-facing reporting tools, which fits agencies that already have their own reporting stack. It is strongest for clients where repeat purchases matter. Pricing follows each client’s annual revenue band, and up to $2.5M, Measure is $499 a month, Scale is $699, and Maximize is $999.

3. Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics works well for agencies managing many Shopify clients in one place. Adding a store takes one click, and its Views feature lets you see metrics across clients and for each one separately. Accounts include unlimited users and integrations, which keeps client logins simple. Pricing is not listed on the website, so you will need a demo to get a number. I covered Polar’s agency fit in Polar Analytics alternatives for agencies.

4. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric has an agency partner program that lets you white label the dashboard with your agency’s logo, with revenue share or a client discount of 10 percent for 12 months at the Gold tier, which covers $1,000 to $5,000 in monthly recurring revenue, and 15 percent above that at Platinum. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) Pricing is based on monthly pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000, with every feature on every plan and unlimited users, so you can quote a client from the published price without a sales call. ThoughtMetric publishes its own comparison with Hyros as well.

What agencies should weigh beyond price

The biggest cost for an agency is rarely the subscription. It is the hours spent explaining why the attribution tool disagrees with Meta. Pick the tool your team can defend in a client meeting. A clear model you understand beats a sophisticated one you cannot explain, because the client only trusts the number as much as they trust your explanation of it.

Second, think about who owns the account. If the client pays for the tool directly, the data stays with them when the engagement ends, which builds trust from the first call. If you bundle it into your retainer, you control the setup but take on the cost and the transition work if the client leaves. Revenue share programs tend to work best when the client owns the subscription and you earn on it.

Third, check onboarding time per client. A tool that takes two weeks to set up per store eats into your margin on every new account, while one-click store connections and a published price let you move from signed contract to first report in days.

Fourth, look at offboarding. When a client leaves, can you hand over the account cleanly, export historical data, and remove your team’s access without breaking anything? Agencies rarely ask this during a trial and almost always wish they had.

Finally, run the same test on any tool before rolling it out across the roster. Set it up on one client you know well, compare its numbers to the store and the ad platforms for a month, and write down where it disagrees and why. That document becomes the explanation you give every future client, which saves far more time than any single feature.
