Hyros competitors for e-commerce brands

Hyros built its reputation with info-product, coaching, and high-ticket advertisers. Its print tracking ties sessions to a known customer, it attributes phone sales, and it feeds its data back into the ad platforms so media buyers see it where they already work. It also sells AIR, an AI remarketing agent, as a separate subscription. I could not confirm current pricing from Hyros’s own site, and figures on third-party sites disagree, so get a quote for your own volume.

E-commerce brands that leave Hyros tend to leave for one of a few reasons: they want a published price, their customers buy within days rather than weeks, they want a broader Shopify platform, or they want stronger modeling for upper-funnel spend. Here are its main competitors sorted by those reasons.

1. Wicked Reports

Wicked Reports is the closest in philosophy. Both lean on long lookback windows, CRM and email data, and lifetime value rather than first-order ROAS, and Wicked publishes its own Wicked versus Hyros comparison. It credits repeat purchases back to the original source and offers lifetime lookback and lookforward on its entry plan. Its pricing follows annual revenue bands, and up to $2.5M, Measure is $499 a month, Scale is $699, and Maximize is $999.

2. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric is the e-commerce-first option with a published price. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It offers five attribution models, a configurable lookback window, post-purchase surveys folded into the attribution, server-side tracking, a conversion API back to Meta and Google, and reporting split by new and returning customers down to product and SKU. Pricing starts at $99 a month for 50,000 monthly pageviews, with every feature on every plan, monthly billing, and a 14-day trial. If phone orders are a real share of revenue, confirm how you would track them, since that is where Hyros is strongest. The head-to-head is in ThoughtMetric vs Hyros, where the same disclosure applies.

3. Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the broadest Shopify platform here, combining attribution with store dashboards, cohorts, and an AI layer. Its Total Impact model blends post-purchase survey data into attribution, and Sonar Optimize sends enriched first-party conversion data to Meta, which covers some of what Hyros does by feeding data back to ad platforms. Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing, actual pricing depends on annual GMV, and its pricing page says paid plans are 12-month subscriptions.

4. Northbeam

Northbeam competes on modeling. Its Clicks plus Deterministic Views model credits ad impressions as well as clicks, and Northbeam Apex sends its first-party attribution to ad delivery algorithms. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, with month-to-month, usage-based billing for Shopify brands, and Professional is listed at $3,500 a month on annual terms. It is the strongest choice here for brands with heavy video or upper-funnel spend, and the most expensive.

5. KnoCommerce

KnoCommerce is not a full replacement, but it covers the part of Hyros that matters most for word of mouth, podcasts, and influencers: finding out where a buyer actually heard about you. Starter is $19 a month, Analyst is $119, and Pro is $299, all billed monthly with no long-term contract and a 7-day trial. Pair it with any of the tools above.

The question that sorts them

Look at how long your customers take from first visit to purchase, and where the purchase happens. If most orders land on your Shopify checkout within a few days of the first click, the hard problem is splitting credit across channels and seeing which ones bring new customers, and the tools above are built for that. If a meaningful share of buyers take weeks, pass through a long email sequence, or close on a sales call, Hyros’s identity matching and call attribution are earning their price.

Whichever you pick, run it alongside Hyros for at least a month before cancelling. Pixel history does not transfer, so a new tool starts counting from the day it is installed, and the overlap tells you whether its differences are ones you can live with. Expect the new tool to credit fewer conversions to email and retargeting than Hyros did, since identity matching tends to find more returning visitors. I covered the e-commerce fit question in is Hyros good for e-commerce, and the Shopify-specific list in Hyros alternatives for Shopify brands.

Picking one

  • Valued Hyros for long lookbacks and LTV? Wicked Reports.
  • Short journeys and want full attribution with a published price? ThoughtMetric (our sponsor).
  • Want the broadest Shopify platform and fine with a 12-month term? Triple Whale.
  • Heavy video or upper-funnel spend and the budget for it? Northbeam.
  • Lots of word of mouth, podcast, or influencer sales? Add KnoCommerce.
  • Selling by phone or through long email sequences? Hyros is still a reasonable fit.
