Rockerbox earns its place when a brand’s mix includes linear TV, podcasts, direct mail, and other channels that need to sit in the same measurement as paid social. It offers a menu of measurement products rather than one plan, it was acquired by DoubleVerify in 2025, and it does not publish pricing, so you will be quoted after a sales process. I covered what that tends to look like in how much does Rockerbox cost.
For a Shopify brand under $10M, the fit question matters more than the price. If most of your budget runs through Meta, Google, and TikTok, with maybe a podcast or an influencer program on the side, you are paying for breadth you will barely use. These five cover the digital core properly and handle the offline pieces in cheaper ways.
1. Triple Whale
Triple Whale is the broadest Shopify platform at this size. Its free plan includes its pixel and first and last click attribution, and Foundation adds multi-touch attribution, cohorts, and custom dashboards. Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing, actual pricing depends on annual GMV, and its pricing page says paid plans are 12-month subscriptions. Its Compass product combines MMM, attribution, and incrementality testing, sold as an add-on or included on Enterprise, which gives Rockerbox users a path to modeling later.
2. Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports suits brands whose real question is lifetime value by acquisition source, which is often what a consumables or subscription brand was trying to get from Rockerbox. It credits repeat purchases back to the original source with lifetime lookback and lookforward. Its pricing follows annual revenue bands, and up to $2.5M, Measure is $499 a month, Scale is $699, and Maximize is $999.
3. KnoCommerce
KnoCommerce is how a small brand covers the offline part of the mix. A post-purchase survey asking where a buyer heard about you captures podcast, TV, radio, and word of mouth that no pixel can see, and it costs a fraction of a modeling contract. Starter is $19 a month, Analyst is $119, and Pro is $299, all billed monthly with no long-term contract and a 7-day trial. Pair it with an attribution tool and you have most of the signal Rockerbox would give a brand this size.
4. Northbeam
Northbeam is the option for brands with heavy video spend that want serious modeling without an enterprise contract. Its Clicks plus Deterministic Views model credits impressions as well as clicks. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, with month-to-month, usage-based billing for Shopify brands, and Professional is listed at $3,500 a month on annual terms. Incrementality is an option on Professional and MMM Plus on Enterprise, so the upgrade path exists if offline spend grows.
5. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric covers digital attribution at the lowest published price here and handles offline through custom channels and surveys. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It offers multi-touch attribution with five models, folds post-purchase survey answers into the model, and lets you set up custom channels for offline and non-standard campaigns so they report alongside paid social and search. Pricing is based on monthly pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000, with every feature on every plan and monthly billing. It does not model view-through conversions or run a media mix model, so brands spending heavily on TV should weigh that.
Covering offline without Rockerbox
At this size, three cheap signals do most of the work a modeling contract would. A post-purchase survey tells you which offline sources people remember. A unique code or landing page per podcast or mailer catches the buyers who act on it directly. And a simple geo holdout, pausing a channel in a few regions for a few weeks, tells you whether the biggest offline line item is actually lifting total sales. None of these is perfect, but together they are usually more honest than a model built on a few hundred orders a month. Write down what each signal says every month, because the trend across three months tells you far more than any single reading, and it gives you a baseline if you do buy a model later.
The time to revisit Rockerbox or a full media mix model is when offline spend becomes a large share of the budget and the decisions about it are big enough to justify the contract. The wider comparisons are in Rockerbox alternatives for Shopify brands and cheaper Rockerbox alternatives.
