Rockerbox alternatives for Shopify brands

Rockerbox earns its reputation on measurement problems most Shopify brands do not have. It was built to pull TV, podcast, direct mail, affiliate, and programmatic spend into the same system as your digital channels, and to layer multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and incrementality testing on top. Since DoubleVerify bought it in 2025, it has also sat inside a company whose core customers are large advertisers and agencies. I covered what changed after the deal in Rockerbox alternatives after the DoubleVerify acquisition.

The buying process reflects that. Rockerbox sells modular products, including Collect, Track, Export, Journey, MMM, and Testing, and you assemble a mix with its team rather than picking a plan with a price. If you are a Shopify brand spending mostly on Meta, Google, and TikTok, that is a lot of machinery for a problem that is usually narrower. These are the alternatives I would look at first.

Northbeam

Northbeam is the closest replacement in seriousness and the most natural fit for a Shopify brand that still wants a heavyweight model. Its Starter plan lists $1,500 a month as a starting rate for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, runs month-to-month for Shopify stores, and includes multi-touch attribution with view-through conversions. Where it falls short of Rockerbox is offline media like TV and direct mail, which is Rockerbox’s home ground. Its Professional and Enterprise tiers, where incrementality and MMM+ are listed as options, are annual contracts.

Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the Shopify-native option that lets you start without a contract. The free plan includes the Triple Pixel and first and last click attribution. Paid tiers add full multi-touch attribution, BI tools, and the Moby AI features, priced on your annual GMV and billed as 12-month subscriptions. Its Enterprise tier includes Compass, which combines MMM and incrementality testing, so it can grow toward some of what Rockerbox does, but you would be buying at the top of its range to get there.

ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric fits the Shopify brand that wants multi-touch attribution, post-purchase survey data, and product-level reporting without a quote cycle. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It starts at $99 a month for 50,000 monthly pageviews, includes every feature at every level, and has a 14-day trial. It handles offline and non-standard spend through custom channels and surveys rather than a dedicated MMM product, so it is not a match for a brand with a large TV budget. For a Shopify brand whose spend is mostly digital, it covers the core question at a fraction of the cost. The full comparison is in ThoughtMetric vs Rockerbox.

Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics is the pick if what you valued in Rockerbox was the data foundation: one clean dataset you can query and export. Polar is a BI platform built for Shopify brands, with unlimited users, unlimited history, and unlimited connectors, plus its own pixel on the higher plans. Polar’s pricing is not listed on the website, so plan on a demo. It asks more of your team than a dashboard tool does.

wetracked.io

If the reason you looked at Rockerbox was that your ad platforms are working from incomplete conversion data, wetracked.io solves that specific problem. It captures purchases server-side and sends enriched conversion data back to Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat. It lists $49 a month for up to 500 orders and $149 for up to 3,000, with a 14-day trial, and it supports Shopify and WooCommerce. It is a tracking tool, not a measurement suite, and it says so.

Before you switch

Plan for the overlap. Switching attribution tools means your new tool starts collecting touchpoint data on the day you install it, and your Rockerbox history does not carry over in a form the new tool can model on. Export what you can from Rockerbox first, then run both side by side for at least one full purchase cycle so you can see where the numbers disagree and why. I wrote up what I check in What I check before I trust a new attribution tool’s numbers.

The honest case for staying

If you are a Shopify brand with meaningful TV, podcast, or direct mail spend, Rockerbox’s offline coverage is hard to replicate with any tool on this list. The same goes if you need managed incrementality testing with an analyst team running the experiments. Switching away from that to save money can leave you blind on the channels you spend the most to understand.

About

Six years in e-commerce. Three Shopify stores across different niches, one scaled past seven figures. I’ve tested hundreds of ad creatives, obsessed over email flows, and learned more from my failures than my wins.

Now I focus on conversion optimization, retention marketing, and the analytics behind it all. This blog is where I share what actually works, backed by real numbers. No fluff, no guru energy.
