Rockerbox does not publish a price. Its plans page lays the platform out as data and analysis modules, with Journey for multi-touch attribution, MMM for media mix modeling, and Testing for incrementality, and you build a quote with its team. So “cheaper” here means something specific: tools with a published price that you can compare against the number Rockerbox gives you. I covered what drives that quote in how much does Rockerbox cost.
What you give up by moving down market is fairly predictable. It is usually one or more of four things: offline channels like TV, podcast, and direct mail inside the same dataset; media mix modeling; managed incrementality testing; and the service layer that comes with an enterprise measurement contract. If your spend is mostly digital, most of that is weight you are carrying for nothing. If it is not, read the last section before you switch.
1. Triple Whale
Triple Whale Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing, with pricing that climbs with annual GMV. It covers multi-touch attribution, including a clicks and deterministic views model, plus store dashboards, cohorts, and an AI layer. It is the most complete digital-first swap. Its pricing page states that paid plans are 12-month subscriptions even when billed monthly, so price the full year when you compare.
2. Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports starts at $499 a month for Measure in the lowest revenue band, up to $2.5M a year, with Scale at $699 and Maximize at $999. It is built around lifetime value and long lookback windows, which suits subscription and consumable brands. It is not cheap, but it is a published number, and for a repeat-driven brand it puts lifetime value at the center of the model.
3. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, with every feature on every plan, monthly billing, and a 14-day trial. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) You get multi-touch attribution with five models, post-purchase surveys folded into the model, server-side tracking, a conversion API back to Meta and Google, and new-customer ROAS by campaign and ad. It supports custom channels, so a podcast or influencer program tracked by UTM or discount code can sit in the same reports. It does not ingest TV or direct mail spend the way Rockerbox does, and it does not run MMM.
4. Le Pixel by Lebesgue
Le Pixel is listed from $99 a month on its Shopify listing, with tiers based on yearly revenue. It is a Shopify attribution pixel with an LTV slant that works alongside Lebesgue’s AI marketing app. It is the lightest option here and Shopify-only, so it fits a single-store brand that wants a cleaner read on digital channels without a long setup.
5. KnoCommerce
KnoCommerce is the cheapest way to keep some visibility into offline channels after leaving Rockerbox. Its post-purchase surveys ask buyers where they heard about you, which is how most brands catch podcast, TV, and direct mail influence without a modeled dataset. Starter is $19 a month, Analyst $119, and Pro $299, all month to month with a 7-day trial. Pair it with any of the tools above.
If you run real offline media
This is the real limit of every option above. None of them replicate Rockerbox’s approach of pulling TV, podcast, and direct mail into one dataset with digital and modeling them together. A survey tells you which channels buyers remember, which is useful and cheap, but it is not the same as a model that estimates what a TV flight did to search volume and direct traffic.
If offline is under a tenth of your budget, a survey plus an occasional holdout test is usually enough, and the savings are real. If offline is a third of your budget, keep a measurement layer that can model it, and look at cheaper options only for the digital side. I explained when holdout tests are worth paying for in what is incrementality testing, and the Shopify-focused list is in Rockerbox alternatives for Shopify brands.
Whichever way you go, budget for the switch itself. A new tool starts its history on the day its pixel goes live, so export the Rockerbox reports you rely on, especially any MMM outputs, before your contract ends. Ask Rockerbox in writing what data you can take with you and in what format, and time the move for a quiet month rather than the run-up to a big promotion.
