International brands that look past Northbeam usually do it for two reasons. The first is cost. Starter is listed at $1,500 a month on month-to-month terms for Shopify brands, while other platforms are pointed to annual tiers, and a brand running regional stores on mixed platforms can land there quickly. The second is the math. When a store sells in five currencies, buys media in three and settles in one, every tool has to pick an exchange rate, a time zone and a reporting currency, and those choices decide whether blended ROAS means anything.
Before signing with any of them, ask which rate it converts at, which time zone it loads data in, and how it handles a refund in a different currency from the order. Here is how five alternatives approach it.

1. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric is an e-commerce attribution tool for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and custom stores. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It takes the consolidated approach. You set one store currency and ad spend and revenue report in it, which is usually the view finance and leadership want. If you need each market side by side in local currency, it is not built for that. Its back-end order connection picks up refunds and cancellations, which matters where cross-border return rates run higher. Pricing starts at $99 a month based on pageviews, with multi-touch attribution, server-side tracking and surveys included.
2. Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports puts currency conversion and international time zone data loading on its Scale plan, which is $699 a month under $2.5 million in annual revenue, against $499 for Measure. The time zone piece is easy to overlook. If data loads on US Eastern time and your second market is Australia, a share of orders land on the wrong day and every day-over-day comparison drifts. Its help center also walks through setting up multiple currencies.
3. Polar Analytics
Polar Analytics rolls several stores into one view while letting you drill into each, and its connector directory includes Global-e for cross-border orders and Zonos for international duties and shipping. Everything lands in a dedicated Snowflake database, so an analyst can define currency logic once and every report follows it. Polar’s pricing is not listed on the website. It suits a multi-region brand that wants one governed dataset more than a quick dashboard.
4. Littledata
Littledata is server-side tracking rather than attribution, but its Plus plan adds multi-store rollups and multi-currency, which regional Shopify stores often need before anything else. Plus is $990 a month with 10,000 orders included, or $9,504 a year, per its Shopify App Store listing. It makes sure GA4 and the ad platforms receive clean purchase data from every store. You still read channel performance somewhere else.
5. Triple Whale
Triple Whale says it offers unlimited users and integrates with as many stores as a brand needs, which helps groups with regional Shopify stores. Paid plans are priced by annual GMV and package on 12-month terms, so ask how GMV is counted across stores and currencies before you get a quote. It is the most similar platform to Northbeam on this list, with more creative and AI tooling and a free plan for first and last click.
The reconciliation test
Take one week of orders from a single non-home market and reconcile three numbers by hand: the order total in the customer’s currency, the amount that settled in your bank, and what the tool reports. If the tool converts at a daily rate and your processor settles at its own, you will never match exactly. That is fine if the gap is small and stable week to week.
Then set every platform in the stack to the same time zone, or at least write down which one each uses. It is a dull fix and it settles more international reporting arguments than anything else. More in attribution tools for international and multi-currency brands and Triple Whale alternatives for international and multi-currency brands.
FAQs
How do attribution tools handle multiple currencies?
Most convert everything into one reporting currency at a daily exchange rate. A few let you keep markets separate in local currency. Ask which rate is used and whether ad spend and revenue are converted the same way.
Does GA4 handle multi-currency stores?
Yes. GA4 is free and converts transactions into one property currency using the previous day’s exchange rate. Expect small discrepancies against your books, which is fine for a cross-check.
Why do my international numbers drift day to day?
Usually time zones. If your store, ad accounts and attribution tool use different time zones, orders near midnight land on different days in each, and daily comparisons never line up.
Is one consolidated currency or per-market reporting better?
Consolidated is better for budget decisions and leadership reporting. Per-market is better when regional teams own their own spend. Many brands use a consolidated attribution tool, such as ThoughtMetric, this site’s sponsor, and a warehouse or BI tool for market detail.
