Wicked Reports competitors for e-commerce brands

Wicked Reports is built around one idea: a campaign should be judged on the lifetime value of the customers it brings in, not on its first order. Its entry plan includes cohort and LTV reports with lifetime lookback and lookforward. Its pricing follows annual revenue bands, and up to $2.5M, Measure is $499 a month, Scale is $699, and Maximize is $999. Maximize adds its 5 Forces AI recommendations and Advanced Signal, its Meta conversion API product, which are $199 add-ons on the lower plans, and Enterprise starts at $4,999 a month for $50M-plus brands.

Its competitors fall into three groups: tools that share its long-term view, tools that model attribution more aggressively, and tools that cover the same job for less money or with a broader platform. Here is how I would sort them for an e-commerce brand.

1. Hyros

Hyros is the competitor with the most similar philosophy. Both lean on identity matching, long windows, and email and CRM data, and both suit businesses where buyers take a while to decide. Hyros adds call attribution, which matters if you sell by phone. I could not confirm current pricing from Hyros’s own site, so get a quote for your volume.

2. Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the broader Shopify platform. Foundation combines multi-touch attribution with subscription data, cohort analysis, a segment builder, custom dashboards, and a SQL editor. Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing, actual pricing depends on annual GMV, and its pricing page says paid plans are 12-month subscriptions. It suits a team that wants LTV reporting inside a wider operating dashboard rather than as the center of the tool.

3. Northbeam

Northbeam competes on modeling. Its Clicks plus Deterministic Views model credits views as well as clicks, which matters for video-heavy accounts where click-based attribution tends to undercount. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, with month-to-month, usage-based billing for Shopify brands, and Professional is listed at $3,500 a month on annual terms.

4. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric covers the core attribution job at a lower price. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It offers five attribution models with configurable lookback windows, folds post-purchase survey answers into the model, splits revenue into new and returning customers for every campaign and ad, and shows LTV by acquisition channel. Pricing is based on monthly pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000, with every feature on every plan and monthly billing. It does not model view-through conversions, and it is not built around lifetime lookforward the way Wicked is, so brands whose whole decision process rests on long-term credit should weigh that.

5. Lifetimely

Lifetimely by AMP is the option for brands that want the LTV and cohort half of Wicked without the attribution half. It covers cohorts, repurchase rate, and daily profit, priced on orders. Pricing is based on monthly orders: free up to 50, $79 a month up to 500, $149 up to 3,000, and $299 up to 7,000, with a 14-day trial on paid plans. Paired with a cheaper attribution tool, it can cover much of what Wicked does for less, though it will not credit repeat revenue back to a specific campaign.

What is hard to replace

The thing Wicked does that most competitors do not is lookforward. Most attribution tools assign credit for an order and move on. Wicked keeps adding the customer’s later orders back to the original source, which is why its channel rankings often look different from everyone else’s after a few months. A prospecting campaign that brought in customers at a loss in January can rank first by June, while a retargeting campaign that looked efficient in January barely moves, because it mostly reached people who were already buying. If your business is consumables, subscriptions, or anything with a strong second purchase, that view is the reason to stay.

If you leave anyway, export your LTV-by-source history before cancelling, because a new tool starts counting from install and will not rebuild that history. Then run the new tool alongside Wicked for a month and compare new-customer counts by channel, which is the number most likely to shift. Expect the new tool to look harsher on top-of-funnel channels at first, and resist cutting them until a full repurchase cycle has passed. That patience is the whole reason you bought Wicked in the first place. The Shopify-focused list is in Wicked Reports alternatives for Shopify brands.

Picking one

  • Long sales cycle, email-heavy, or phone sales? Hyros.
  • Want LTV reporting inside a broad Shopify platform and fine with a 12-month term? Triple Whale.
  • Heavy video spend and budget for view modeling? Northbeam.
  • Want the core attribution job at a pageview price? ThoughtMetric (our sponsor).
  • Only need cohorts and LTV, not attribution? Lifetimely.
