Growing stores, one honest take at a time.

Wicked Reports alternatives for Shopify brands

Wicked Reports has a clear point of view. It credits channels for the lifetime value of the customers they bring in, uses long lookback windows, and is known for its first-click and LTV views, which suits subscription, consumable, and replenishment brands where the first order understates what a channel is worth. Measure starts at $499 a month in the lowest revenue band, up to $2.5M a year, with Scale at $699 and Maximize at $999.

That point of view is also why some Shopify brands never quite fit it. If your repeat rate is low, or your main decisions are about which Meta prospecting campaign to cut this week, a lifetime lens can slow down calls that need to be fast. These five suit Shopify stores where near-term ROAS and campaign-level detail carry more weight, ordered roughly from closest to Wicked’s approach to furthest.

1. Le Pixel by Lebesgue

Le Pixel is the closest match on philosophy. It is Lebesgue’s Shopify attribution pixel, it credits channels for the long-term value of the customers they bring in, and it is listed from $99 a month on its Shopify listing with tiers based on yearly revenue. That makes it a cheaper way to keep an LTV slant. It is Shopify-only, so it does not suit a brand that also sells through another platform.

2. Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the broad Shopify option, with multi-touch attribution, cohort and LTV views, store dashboards, and an AI layer in one app. Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing and rises with annual GMV, and its pricing page states that paid plans are 12-month subscriptions even when billed monthly. If you want LTV as one view among many rather than the center of the model, it is the natural step across. I compared the cohort side in Triple Whale alternatives for LTV and cohort analysis.

3. Northbeam

Northbeam sits at the other end from Wicked. Its strength is modeled credit for ad views through its Clicks + Deterministic Views model, which matters most for brands spending heavily on Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat video. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, so it is a bigger commitment than Wicked’s entry tier.

4. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric suits Shopify brands that want campaign, ad, and creative detail first, without losing the long view. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It reports new-customer ROAS by campaign and ad, offers five attribution models, and has a configurable lookback window, so you can still look further back when a channel needs it. Post-purchase surveys are folded into the model, which helps with podcast and influencer credit that Wicked users often handle through first-click views. It starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews with every feature included, monthly billing, and a 14-day trial.

5. Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics fits brands that want attribution as one part of a wider Shopify reporting setup, with store, ad, and email data in shared dashboards. Its pricing is not listed on the website, so a demo is needed for a number. If you mainly need attribution, my notes in Polar Analytics competitors, sorted by the job you need done will help narrow it down.

Where Wicked Reports is still the better fit

Subscription brands, mostly. If a customer acquired through a podcast is worth twice as much over a year as one acquired through Meta, a model that only looks at the first order will steer you toward the wrong channel, and Wicked is built to catch exactly that. It is also a good fit when the finance team asks what a channel’s customers are worth after 12 months and wants that answer from the attribution tool rather than a spreadsheet.

A quick way to test which camp you are in is to compare 90-day revenue per customer by acquisition channel against first-order value. If the ratio is roughly the same across channels, a lifetime lens is not changing your rankings, and a tool focused on near-term ROAS will make the same calls faster. If one or two channels pull far ahead over 90 days, stay with an LTV-centered model. The older lists are in Wicked Reports alternatives for first-click and LTV attribution and best Wicked Reports alternatives.
