Cometly‘s pricing page now opens with a headline saying its usage-based pricing is built for B2B SaaS. Its fact sheet for AI assistants goes further and notes that pure e-commerce teams with no CRM may get more out of Shopify-native attribution tools. That is an unusually candid thing for a vendor to say about its own fit, and it matches what the product has become: pipeline attribution, Stripe revenue, HubSpot and Salesforce deal stages, and account journeys.
Cometly still lists Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce integrations, and its Core plan includes a server-side pixel, eight attribution models, and a Conversion API for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok. There is no price on the page. Core and Enterprise are sized to your monthly pageviews and quoted on a call, there is no free trial, and both plans can be billed monthly or annually. If you run a Shopify store and want attribution built around orders rather than pipeline, these five are where I would look.
1. Triple Whale
Triple Whale is the default comparison for most Shopify brands. It combines attribution with store dashboards, cohort views, and an AI layer, and it connects to TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, AppLovin, and most other channels a DTC brand runs. Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing, with pricing that climbs with annual GMV. Its pricing page states that Foundation, Automate, and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions even when billed monthly, which is the main thing to weigh against Cometly’s monthly option. I broke down the tiers in how much does Triple Whale cost.
2. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric starts at $99 a month for 50,000 monthly pageviews, with every feature on every plan and a 14-day trial. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It is built for e-commerce: five attribution models, a configurable lookback window, post-purchase surveys folded into the attribution, server-side tracking, a conversion API that sends data back to Meta and Google, and reporting split by new and returning customers down to product and SKU. It works on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento. What it does not do is CRM pipeline attribution, which is the part of Cometly an e-commerce brand is least likely to miss.
3. Northbeam
Northbeam is the pick if most of your budget goes to video and you want modeled credit for ad views. Its Clicks + Deterministic Views model was developed with Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest, and it ties both clicks and views to first-party order data. That depth costs more. The Starter plan is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, so it makes the most sense once paid media is a large, multi-channel line item. Details are in how much does Northbeam cost.
4. Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports suits subscription and replenishment brands, where the first order understates what a channel is worth. Its model leans on lifetime value and long lookback windows, and its Measure plan starts at $499 a month in the lowest revenue band, up to $2.5M a year, with Scale at $699 and Maximize at $999. If the feature you valued most in Cometly was its lifetime LTV window, this is the closest e-commerce match.
5. Le Pixel by Lebesgue
Le Pixel is Lebesgue’s attribution pixel for Shopify, listed from $99 a month on its Shopify listing with tiers based on yearly revenue. It credits channels for the long-term value of the customers they bring in and works alongside Lebesgue’s AI marketing app. It is Shopify-only, so it is a non-starter if you also run a WooCommerce or custom store.
What you lose by leaving Cometly
Two things are worth checking before you move. The first is the AI Ads Manager, which lets you act on attribution data across ad platforms from one console. Most of the tools above report and recommend, but you will still make changes inside Meta and Google yourself. The second is history. A new attribution tool starts collecting from the day its pixel goes live, so you lose the year-over-year view inside that tool. Export the Cometly reports you will want for comparison before you cancel, and avoid switching in the run-up to Black Friday.
The bigger question is fit over the next two years. A tool whose roadmap is built around MRR, ARR, and closed-won deals will keep shipping features for those teams. If your business runs on orders, contribution margin, and repeat purchase rate, a tool built around those numbers will usually get you to a clear answer faster. The older version of this list is in Cometly alternatives for e-commerce brands looking for attribution, and I split Cometly into the jobs it does for a store in Cometly alternatives for e-commerce after its B2B shift.
Picking one
- Want attribution, dashboards, and cohorts in one Shopify app, and fine with a 12-month term? Triple Whale.
- Want full multi-touch attribution with surveys at a pageview price, billed monthly? ThoughtMetric (our sponsor).
- Video-heavy budget and need credit for ad views? Northbeam.
- Subscription or replenishment brand? Wicked Reports.
- Shopify-only and focused on customer LTV? Le Pixel by Lebesgue.
- Selling B2B alongside your store, with a CRM in the loop? Cometly may still be the right tool.
