Triple Whale alternatives for AppLovin ads

To be fair up front: Triple Whale integrates with AppLovin, pulls AppLovin spend into its Summary dashboard, and can send enriched purchase events back to AppLovin through Sonar Optimize. AppLovin even lists Triple Whale as a measurement partner in its e-commerce docs. So this isn’t about missing support. Brands look elsewhere for the usual reasons, like GMV-based pricing, a Shopify-first setup, or wanting a lighter tool for a channel they’re only testing.

AppLovin is also an odd channel to measure. Ads run mostly as full-screen video inside mobile games, the click path jumps from an app into a mobile browser, and plenty of viewers buy later without ever tapping. Here’s how I’d rank the alternatives for a brand putting real money into AppLovin. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric, ranked third, sponsors this site.)

1. Northbeam

Northbeam is the other measurement partner AppLovin documents for e-commerce advertisers, next to Triple Whale, and it publishes its own guidance on advertising there. Its Clicks + Deterministic Views model is built to credit ads people watched without clicking, which matters on a channel built around video, though confirm which channels it covers before assuming AppLovin is one. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, month to month for Shopify brands. Professional is $3,500 a month on annual terms and adds support for any e-commerce platform.

2. Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics lists an AppLovin integration and puts AppLovin spend in the same BI layer as the rest of your channels, with geo-based holdout tests for checking whether a channel is adding orders at all. That holdout option is worth a lot on a channel where click tracking undercounts. Its pricing is not listed on the website, so you’ll need a demo for a number.

3. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this site, added a native AppLovin integration in September 2026, so AppLovin spend sits in the same reports as Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat. New-customer orders and cost per new customer line up across channels on one screen. It doesn’t model view-through conversions, but post-purchase survey answers feed its attribution model, which is where AppLovin’s no-click buyers tend to show up. It’s an e-commerce attribution tool for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom stores. Pricing starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, with every feature on every plan.

4 and 5. Fairing or KnoCommerce

Add an answer like a game or app ad to your post-purchase survey. If AppLovin is working, that answer should show up at a rate roughly in line with spend. Fairing is free up to 200 orders a month, then $49 up to 500 and $99 up to 1,000. KnoCommerce starts at $19 a month, with Analyst at $119 and Pro at $299.

Testing AppLovin without fooling yourself

Keep AppLovin’s own pixel installed so its bidding gets purchase signal, and judge the test in your independent tool. Watch the new-customer share of AppLovin-attributed orders, which should beat your retargeting average if the channel is really prospecting. Compare survey share with spend share. And if spend gets meaningful, pause it for two weeks and see whether total new-customer orders dip. More in do attribution tools work with AppLovin ads, Triple Whale alternatives for YouTube ads, and the main Triple Whale alternatives list.

FAQs

Does Triple Whale support AppLovin?

Yes. It pulls AppLovin data into its dashboard and can send enriched events back through Sonar Optimize. Brands switch for pricing or fit, not missing support.

Which alternatives integrate with AppLovin?

Polar Analytics lists an integration, Northbeam is a documented AppLovin measurement partner, and ThoughtMetric, our sponsor, added a native integration in September 2026.

Why does AppLovin look different in every tool?

Because many buyers watch a forced video, never tap, and buy later. Click-based tools miss them and AppLovin’s own reporting may overcount them.

Should I keep the AppLovin pixel?

Yes. AppLovin’s optimization depends on it. Your attribution tool measures the outcome independently.

How to choose

  • Choose Northbeam if AppLovin is one of several large channels and you want a documented measurement partner.
  • Choose Polar Analytics if you want AppLovin in a BI layer with holdout testing.
  • Choose ThoughtMetric (our sponsor) for a native AppLovin integration plus surveys at a published price.
  • Add Fairing or KnoCommerce to catch the buyers who watched and never tapped.
