Hyros built its reputation with info-product, coaching, and high-ticket advertisers, where a sales call or a long run of emails sits between the first click and the purchase. Its print tracking ties sessions to a known customer, it attributes phone sales, and it places its data inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads so media buyers see it where they already work. Pricing comes through a demo call, and the figures on third-party sites disagree enough that I would only trust the quote you get for your own volume.
For a Shopify brand with a considered, high-AOV product, that can be a good fit. For a store whose customers usually buy within a day or two of the first click, the hard problem is different. It is splitting credit across channels and campaigns, and seeing which of them bring in new customers. These five are built around that problem.
1. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric starts at $99 a month for 50,000 monthly pageviews, with every feature on every plan, monthly billing, and a 14-day trial, so you can see a price without booking a call. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It offers five attribution models, a configurable lookback window, post-purchase surveys folded into the attribution, server-side tracking, a conversion API back to Meta and Google, and reporting split by new and returning customers down to product and SKU. If phone orders are a large share of your revenue, confirm how you would track them, since that is where Hyros is strongest. I compared the two in ThoughtMetric vs Hyros.
2. Triple Whale
Triple Whale is the broadest Shopify option, mixing attribution with store dashboards, cohorts, and an AI layer. Foundation is listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing and rises with annual GMV, and its pricing page states that paid plans are 12-month subscriptions even when billed monthly. It integrates with Fairing and KnoCommerce, so survey answers can sit next to its pixel data, which partly covers the identity gaps Hyros fills with email matching. More in is Triple Whale worth it for a brand under $10M.
3. Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports is the closest match if what you valued in Hyros was LTV and subscription attribution. It credits channels for the lifetime value of the customers they bring in and uses long lookback windows, which suits consumable and subscription brands. Measure starts at $499 a month in the lowest revenue band, up to $2.5M a year, with Scale at $699 and Maximize at $999.
4. Le Pixel by Lebesgue
Le Pixel is Lebesgue’s attribution pixel for Shopify, listed from $99 a month on its Shopify listing with tiers based on yearly revenue. It leans toward lifetime value and works alongside Lebesgue’s AI marketing app. It is Shopify-only, which is fine for most brands reading this but rules it out for anyone also selling through a custom checkout. I compared it head to head in ThoughtMetric vs Lebesgue.
5. KnoCommerce
KnoCommerce is not a replacement on its own, but it covers the part of Hyros that matters most for word of mouth, podcasts, and influencers: finding out where a buyer actually heard about you. Its post-purchase surveys run on Shopify, with Starter at $19 a month, Analyst at $119, and Pro at $299, all month to month with a 7-day trial. Pair it with any of the tools above.
Where Hyros still wins
If you sell partly by phone, Hyros’s call attribution is a real differentiator, and none of the tools above lead with it. The same goes for long email nurture sequences on a product that costs several hundred dollars, where tying a buyer across devices and weeks is the core problem. Hyros also sells AIR, an AI remarketing agent, as a separate subscription, which none of these replicate.
The test I would use is simple. Look at how long your customers take from first visit to purchase in whatever analytics you have now. If most orders land within a few days of the first click, you are paying for depth you will not use. If a big share take weeks and pass through email or a call, Hyros is earning its price. The wider lists are in Hyros alternatives for cleaner attribution and Hyros alternatives for e-commerce brands looking for attribution.
Picking one
- Short journeys and want full multi-touch attribution with a published price? ThoughtMetric (our sponsor).
- Want attribution plus dashboards and cohorts, and fine with a 12-month term? Triple Whale.
- Subscription or replenishment brand that valued Hyros’s LTV views? Wicked Reports.
- Shopify-only and focused on customer LTV? Le Pixel by Lebesgue.
- Lots of word of mouth, podcast, or influencer sales? Add KnoCommerce to whichever you pick.
- Selling by phone or through long email sequences? Hyros is still a reasonable fit.
