Growing stores, one honest take at a time.

Rockerbox competitors for e-commerce brands

Rockerbox built its reputation on measuring the channels that click-based attribution handles badly: TV, podcasts, direct mail, and other offline or upper-funnel spend, measured in the same place as paid social and search. Since DoubleVerify acquired it in 2025, some e-commerce brands have been reassessing, mostly out of uncertainty about where the product is headed rather than anything specific going wrong. Rockerbox does not publish pricing, so comparisons with its competitors tend to start with capability and get to cost later.

These five compete with it from different directions. If you want the cost side first, start with how much does Rockerbox cost.

1. Northbeam

Northbeam is the most direct competitor on modeled multi-touch attribution for e-commerce. Its Clicks plus Deterministic Views model credits ad impressions as well as clicks, which covers part of what Rockerbox does for upper-funnel digital spend, though Northbeam is more digital-first in its design. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, billed month to month, with larger tiers quoted.

2. Haus

Haus competes on proof rather than modeling. It runs geo-based incrementality experiments across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, connected TV, and some retail media, and its Plus plan adds test types for harder channels like podcasts, influencers, out-of-home, and TV, along with media mix modeling built on the experiment results. That overlaps closely with why many brands bought Rockerbox in the first place. Plans run from Basics to Enterprise, and none list a price.

3. Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the platform option. Its Enterprise plan includes Compass, which combines multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, and incrementality testing in one product, alongside retail data from partners like Target and Sephora for brands that sell in stores. Pricing is based on annual GMV and the package you choose, and paid plans are 12-month subscriptions. It suits Shopify brands that want measurement and day-to-day analytics in the same tool.

4. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric is the cheaper core for brands whose Rockerbox use was mostly digital attribution. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) It runs multi-touch attribution across connected ad platforms, folds post-purchase survey answers into the model so channels like podcasts and TV get credit when customers name them, and reports new-customer ROAS by campaign. Pricing starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, with every feature on every plan and monthly billing. It does not model view-through conversions or run incrementality tests, so it does not replace Rockerbox’s offline modeling on its own. The direct comparison, with the same disclosure, is in ThoughtMetric vs Rockerbox.

5. Wicked Reports

Wicked Reports competes for repeat-driven brands, crediting campaigns for the lifetime value of the customers they acquire rather than the first order. Its pricing uses annual revenue bands, and up to $2.5M, Measure is $499 a month, Scale is $699, and Maximize is $999. It is a narrower tool than Rockerbox, but for subscription brands its lens is often the more useful one.

What to replace first

Rockerbox customers usually rely on it for two separate jobs: a daily attribution view for digital channels, and a credible read on offline and upper-funnel spend. Those rarely need to live in the same tool. A common setup after leaving is a daily attribution tool for the channels you adjust every week, plus periodic incrementality tests on the large offline bets you adjust a few times a year.

The order matters. Replace the daily view first, because that is what your media buyers open every morning, and run it next to Rockerbox while you still have access. Plan the first incrementality test around your largest offline line item, since that is where losing Rockerbox’s modeled view hurts most. If podcasts or TV are in your mix, how do you attribute podcast sales covers the survey and promo code side, which is cheap to set up and useful whichever tool you choose.

Before any of that, find your Rockerbox renewal date and notice period, because those set the real timeline. Working back from it, you want the replacement’s daily view running for at least a month before renewal, and the first incrementality test designed before the old tool goes dark, so there is never a stretch where you have no read at all on your largest channels.
