Ecomtrack does one thing and does it cleanly. It tracks the revenue your ads actually drove, compares it to what Facebook claims, and gives you an attribution window you can set yourself. For a store that only needs to know whether Meta is lying, that is often enough.
Where operators outgrow it is breadth. Pricing is pay as you go based on tracked ads revenue, starting at $99 per month, and their own documentation gives the example of a store doing $100,000 monthly with $15,000 from Facebook ads sitting comfortably in the $99 tier. There are no setup fees. But as the channel mix widens past paid social and the questions move from “is this number right” to “what should I do about it,” the tool starts to run out of room.
1. Triple Whale
The broadest step up. You get multi-touch attribution through the Triple Pixel, cohort analysis, creative reporting, product analytics, and a BI layer with dashboards and a SQL editor. If Ecomtrack answered one question and you now have twenty, this covers most of them.
Free tier available with first and last click attribution. Paid pricing is set by annual GMV combined with the package, starting at $219 per month for Foundation and $749 for Automate at the lowest revenue band, Enterprise by quote. Paid plans are twelve month subscriptions billed monthly or annually. The GMV component is the thing to model carefully, since the entry figures apply at the bottom band only.
2. Attribuly
The cheapest credible option on this list by a wide margin. Attribuly is Shopify-native, does server-side tracking with Meta CAPI and Google Enhanced Conversions, offers multi-touch models, and syncs audiences into Klaviyo for lifecycle work.
There is a free plan, and the Pro plan runs from $8.25 per month billed annually, which works out to $99 for the year. Enterprise is custom. The trial gives you fourteen days of full Pro access. At that price the question is not whether it is worth trying but what the catch is, and the honest answer is that credits and order volume affect what you actually get, so read the limits before assuming the headline figure is your final bill.
3. AdBeacon
Built for media buyers who want first-party click attribution plus an optimization layer, including a Chrome extension that works inside Meta Ads Manager. It leans harder into acting on the data than Ecomtrack does.
Pricing is tiered on monthly revenue tracked, with bands running from under $50,000 through to $500,000 and above, and the vendor positions the higher tiers as fixed rates regardless of revenue within the band. There is a thirty day free start. I am not going to quote a specific monthly figure here because the tier prices sit behind interactive tabs on their pricing page rather than in readable text, and the numbers third-party sites are citing do not agree with each other. Pull the band that matches your revenue directly from their site.
4. NestAds
A Shopify-only tool that centralizes Meta, Google, and TikTok data with server-side tracking and multi-touch attribution. The TikTok support is more developed than most tools in this price range, which matters if that channel is meaningful for you.
The Starter plan is free and covers basic tracking. Pro is $49.99 per month and adds the NestAds pixel, attribution reporting, customer journey views, cohort analysis, and creative analysis. There is a seven day free trial on Pro. It is the closest thing to a like-for-like replacement at a similar price point, with a wider channel spread than Ecomtrack’s Facebook-first framing.
5. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this blog, is the pick if you want the pricing predictability that drew you to Ecomtrack without the ceiling. Pricing is based on monthly pageviews starting at $99 per month for 50,000 pageviews, with every feature included at every tier rather than gated by plan.
The difference from Ecomtrack’s model is what the meter counts. Ecomtrack bills against tracked ads revenue, so the cost rises as the channel you are measuring succeeds. Pageview pricing does not move with revenue, which usually favors higher average order value brands. You get five attribution models, configurable lookback windows, server-side tagging with Meta and Google conversion APIs, post-purchase surveys for the non-click discovery Ecomtrack cannot see, product attribution by SKU, and customer LTV. It supports Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento. Two week free trial, no card required.
Where I would land
If budget is the binding constraint, Attribuly. If you need the same simplicity with more channels, NestAds. If you want pricing that stays flat as revenue grows and coverage beyond Shopify, ThoughtMetric. If you are building a reporting function rather than checking a number, Triple Whale.
One thing to check before switching. Ecomtrack lets you pick between seven, fourteen, and twenty-eight day windows plus last click, and several tools on this list default to different windows. If you migrate without matching the window, your ROAS will appear to change on the switchover date for reasons that have nothing to do with your ads. I covered how much that choice moves the number in the best e-commerce attribution tools roundup.
