I rewrote this list for July 2026 because the category keeps moving. The biggest shift since my last pass is that incrementality testing stopped being a separate thing you bought from a boutique and started showing up inside the attribution platforms themselves. Northbeam shipped channel-level lift testing in April. Polar sells it as a module now. That matters for how I rank these, because a tool that only stitches clicks together is doing less of the whole job than it was a year ago. Here are the ones I would actually put money on, roughly in the order I reach for them.
Triple Whale
Triple Whale is still the default for Shopify-first brands, mostly because the Triple Pixel and the Shopify integration mean you are looking at numbers within about fifteen minutes of signing up. Pricing moved to GMV-based tiers (Foundation, Automate, Enterprise) with a free plan underneath. The free tier is genuinely useful for a store under roughly $30k a month in ad spend that just wants blended revenue, spend, and orders in one place before committing to anything. The thing to watch with GMV pricing is that your bill climbs as the store grows whether or not you are using more of the product, so a brand that just wants a clean dashboard can end up paying for forecasting and BI it never opens.
Northbeam
Northbeam is the heavier option. Pricing is tiered off data volume and spend, with the entry multi-touch plan commonly quoted around $1,000 to $1,500 a month and Professional and Enterprise priced on a call. There is no free plan and no trial, so you are committing before you see it on your own data. What you get for that is a more serious modeling layer, and as of April they run channel-level incrementality on Meta with more channels coming. I would only reach for Northbeam above about $250k a month in spend, where the difference between modeled truth and platform-reported ROAS is worth real money and you have someone on the team who will actually operate it.
ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric is what I run on my own stores, and it sponsors this site, so weigh that as you read. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric is a sponsor.) Pricing is pageview-based, starting at $99 a month for up to 50,000 pageviews, and every feature is included in every tier. I like that because I am not upgrading just to unlock a report I already needed. It covers full multi-touch attribution across Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce rather than Shopify only, with post-purchase surveys and creative and product analytics in the same place. The sweet spot is a brand that wants real MTA and clean channel numbers without signing a five-figure contract to get them.
Hyros
Hyros prices on tracked revenue, which is unusual and worth understanding before a demo. The entry business tier lands around $230 a month billed annually for up to $20k in tracked monthly revenue, there is a cheaper Shopify-only track from about $69, and it scales up toward $1,499 as tracked revenue grows. You cannot see a real number without a sales call. Where Hyros earns its keep is long sales cycles and funnels with calls, webinars, and email sequences, which is why the info-product world loves it. For a straightforward DTC store with a short path to purchase, you are paying for machinery you may not need.
Rockerbox
Rockerbox is quote-only and modular, priced off the marketing spend it manages, which in practice means a mid-five-figure to six-figure annual contract. That is a lot, and for most sub-$10M stores it is more than the problem calls for. The reason it exists on this list is offline. If you are folding TV, podcast, radio, or direct mail into the same measurement as your Meta and Google spend, Rockerbox is built for that in a way the Shopify-native tools are not. Right-sized for a brand already buying broadcast, overkill for one that is not.
Picking between these
- If you are Shopify-first and want one dashboard fast, start with Triple Whale, and use the free tier before you pay.
- If you are spending over $250k a month and want modeling plus incrementality, Northbeam is the serious pick, assuming you will operate it.
- If you want full multi-touch attribution across platforms without a big contract, ThoughtMetric is the value play.
- If your funnel runs long and involves calls or webinars, Hyros fits the shape of that problem.
- If you are measuring TV, podcast, or direct mail next to digital, Rockerbox is the one built for offline.
