Voluum is a good tracker that was not built for a Shopify store. It came out of affiliate and media buying, and the design assumptions show. You get campaigns, offers, landers, and traffic sources rather than orders, customers, and SKUs, and the pricing meters events rather than revenue.
That gap is why DTC operators keep asking me what to move to. The plans start at $119 per month for the Profit tier billed annually, running through Scale at $299, Start-up at $539, Agency at $799, Enterprise at $1,599, and up to $7,999 for Executive. Profit includes a million events with overage at $0.06 per thousand beyond that, and you get a fourteen day platform preview with no payment details required. Worth noting that several aggregator sites currently quote $149 or $199 as the entry price, which does not match what Voluum’s own pricing page shows.
Here are the alternatives I would actually look at for an e-commerce store.
1. Triple Whale
The default answer for Shopify brands, and the one most operators have already heard of. The Triple Pixel handles cross-device tracking, and the reporting is organized around store concepts rather than campaign flows, which is the main thing Voluum is missing.
There is a free tier with first and last click attribution and a twelve month lookback. Paid plans are priced on a combination of annual GMV and package, starting at $219 per month for Foundation and $749 for Automate at the lowest revenue band, with Enterprise quote-only. All paid plans are twelve month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually with two months free. The cost climbs with GMV, so model it at your actual revenue rather than the headline number.
2. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this blog, is the closest fit if what you liked about Voluum was predictable pricing that does not scale against your success. It prices on monthly pageviews starting at $99 per month for 50,000 pageviews, and every feature is available at every tier rather than gated behind upgrades.
For high average order value brands this pricing model is usually cheaper than anything metered on GMV or tracked revenue, because pageviews scale with traffic rather than with how much money you make. You get five attribution models, configurable lookback windows, server-side tagging with the Meta and Google conversion APIs, post-purchase surveys, and product-level attribution by SKU. It runs on a single async pixel plus server-side tagging, so it does not slow the site down. Two week free trial, no card required.
3. RedTrack
The most direct swap if you want to keep the tracker mental model. RedTrack serves affiliates and DTC brands from the same platform, so the migration is conceptually short, and it addresses the two Voluum complaints I hear most: campaign caps and event overages.
Entry pricing is $149 per month, with the ecommerce Brand plan starting at $199 and the range topping out around $999. Campaigns are unlimited on every plan and pricing is tiered on features rather than ad spend, so scaling does not automatically raise the bill. Conversion API support for Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat is included at the entry price, and there is a fourteen day free trial without a credit card.
4. AnyTrack
AnyTrack sits between a tracker and a conversion data layer. It captures conversions and routes them onward to your ad platforms and analytics, which makes it a reasonable pick if your actual problem is signal quality feeding back into Meta and Google rather than reporting.
Pricing is session-based. There is a free plan, then Personal at $150 per month covering 500,000 sessions and three properties, and Advance at $300 per month for three million sessions and ten properties. Overages run between $0.20 and $0.40 per thousand sessions depending on tier. Annual billing gives two months free and paid plans include a fourteen day trial. The Shopify integration is included on every plan, though the conversion API to ad platforms requires a paid tier.
5. Hyros
Worth a look if you run long consideration cycles, high ticket products, or funnels that include calls and offline steps. Hyros is built around long customer journeys in a way most Shopify-native tools are not.
Pricing is not fully published. The site requires a call before you can see rates beyond the entry tier, and the figures circulating on comparison sites range from $129 to $379 per month depending on who you read and which revenue tier they are describing. Treat it as quote-only and get the number in writing before you commit, because the tiers move with tracked revenue.
How I would choose
If you are leaving Voluum because the tool does not speak e-commerce, ThoughtMetric or Triple Whale. If you are leaving because of event caps and overage bills but want the same shape of tool, RedTrack. If the real problem is that Meta is optimizing on bad data, AnyTrack.
The mistake I see most in these migrations is picking on feature lists rather than pricing mechanics. A tool metered on tracked revenue punishes you exactly when things go well. I compared the broader field on that basis in best ROAS tracking tools.
