The Best Attribution Tools for Auto Parts and Accessories Brands

Auto parts and accessories stores look different from most DTC brands. Demand is search-led: someone needs brake pads for a specific year, make, and model and goes straight to Google. Google Shopping and search carry most of the budget, and Microsoft Ads often punches above its weight with an older, desktop-heavy audience. Catalogs run to tens of thousands of SKUs, wrong-fitment returns are a real cost, and plenty of these stores run on BigCommerce, Magento, or WooCommerce rather than Shopify.

So the tools that work here need strong search integrations, product-level reporting, and support beyond Shopify. Here’s my ranking. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric, ranked first, sponsors this site.)

1. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this site, is an e-commerce attribution tool for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom stores, which matters in a category where Shopify isn’t the default. It integrates natively with Google Ads and Bing Ads, along with Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest, and product-level reporting shows which channels sell which parts and categories. Pricing starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews and runs to $399 for 300,000, so high-traffic catalog stores should check where they land.

2. Northbeam

Northbeam integrates natively with Google and Microsoft Ads and fits large parts retailers spending across many channels. Note the platform split: Starter, listed from $1,500 a month, is month to month for Shopify brands, while Professional at $3,500 a month on annual terms adds integration with any e-commerce platform.

3. Elevar

Elevar, now sold as Audiense Online, sends server-side conversions to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other platforms, which helps Smart Bidding and Performance Max work from better data. It’s Shopify-first, with an API framework for Magento, WooCommerce, and other platforms on its Premium plan at $1,250 a month. Core is $225 a month for up to 2,000 orders.

4. Wicked Reports

Wicked Reports suits parts and accessories stores with enthusiasts who keep coming back for their next upgrade. Its lifetime lookback credits the original channel across every order. Measure is $499 a month for brands under $2.5 million in revenue, and API-level cart integrations need Scale at $699 or above.

5. Triple Whale

Triple Whale is a strong choice if your parts store runs on Shopify. It connects Google, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and more, with multi-touch attribution and product analytics on Foundation, listed from $219 a month on its Shopify listing and priced by annual GMV.

What auto parts stores should measure

Break results out by product category, because brake parts, lighting, and accessories have very different margins and conversion rates. Track fitment-related returns by channel, since a channel that sends buyers to the wrong part is worth less than its ROAS says. Isolate Microsoft Ads in reporting, and check that imported Google campaigns aren’t labeling Microsoft clicks as Google. And separate branded from non-branded search so Shopping campaigns aren’t credited for people who already knew your store. See attribution tools and Microsoft Ads, attribution tools and Performance Max, and BigCommerce attribution tools.

FAQs

Which attribution tools work with Magento and BigCommerce parts stores?

ThoughtMetric, our sponsor, supports Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and custom stores. Northbeam supports other platforms on Professional and above.

Is Microsoft Ads worth tracking separately?

Yes. Auto parts buyers skew toward desktop and Bing, and imported Google campaigns often mislabel Microsoft traffic, hiding what it delivers.

How do I measure Google Shopping for a large catalog?

Use product-level attribution so you can see which categories Shopping actually sells, and separate branded queries from non-branded ones.

Do returns change channel ROAS?

They can. Measure on net revenue and track wrong-fitment returns by channel.

How to choose

  • Choose ThoughtMetric (our sponsor) for Google and Bing attribution across Shopify and non-Shopify platforms at a published price.
  • Choose Northbeam once spend is large, knowing non-Shopify support starts at Professional.
  • Add Elevar to improve conversion data for Google and Microsoft bidding.
  • Choose Wicked Reports if repeat enthusiasts drive your revenue.
  • Choose Triple Whale if you’re on Shopify and want one suite.
