TrueProfit and BeProfit solve the same problem. Shopify tells you revenue, ad platforms tell you ROAS, and neither tells you whether you made money after product costs, shipping, payment fees and ad spend. Both apps pull those costs together into a live profit dashboard. The differences are in how they price by order volume, which plan unlocks attribution, and how they handle more than one store.
TrueProfit pricing
TrueProfit’s pricing page lists four plans. Basic is $35 a month for 300 orders, Advanced is $60 for 600, Ultimate is $100 for 1,500 and Enterprise is $200 for 3,500. Above each limit you pay per extra order, $0.30 on Basic down to $0.07 on Enterprise, with a monthly cap on the surcharge. There is a 14-day free trial and no annual plan. Product analytics and the P&L report start on Advanced. Marketing attribution and TrueProfit’s MCP connection for AI assistants are only on Enterprise. Each store needs its own plan, though you can see all of them together in one view.
BeProfit pricing
BeProfit’s Shopify App Store listing shows Basic at $49 a month for 450 orders, Pro at $99 for 900, Ultimate at $149 for 1,700 and Plus at $249 with unlimited orders. Basic through Ultimate cover one shop. Plus adds unlimited shops and platforms, unlimited team members and API access. Annual billing saves 20 percent, and each plan has a 14-day free trial. Custom reports and the P&L report start on Pro. UTM attribution and LTV cohort analysis start on Ultimate. The listing names Amazon among the platforms it works with.
What each costs at your order count
At 400 orders a month, TrueProfit Advanced at $60 is the cheapest way to cover you, since Basic plus overage comes to $65. BeProfit Basic covers 450 orders for $49. BeProfit is cheaper here.
At 1,000 orders, TrueProfit Ultimate covers you for $100. BeProfit Pro stops at 900, so you would be on Ultimate at $149, or about $119 a month on annual billing. TrueProfit is cheaper either way.
At 3,000 orders, TrueProfit Enterprise at $200 covers you and includes attribution. BeProfit’s Ultimate stops at 1,700, so you would be on Plus at $249, or about $199 a month if you pay annually. On a monthly basis TrueProfit is cheaper. On an annual basis they are close.
Multi-store and multi-platform
This is where the two diverge most. TrueProfit charges per store, so three stores mean three plans. BeProfit Plus covers unlimited shops for one price. If you run several Shopify stores or sell on Amazon as well, BeProfit Plus can come out well ahead even though its sticker price is higher.
Neither is an attribution tool first
Both apps include some attribution on higher plans, and both are built around profit. Before you rely on either for channel decisions, check how it handles ad spend that it can’t tie to a specific order. A profit dashboard that only counts attributed spend will make your margins look better than they are. Always compare its total ad spend line against what the ad platforms actually billed you.
Where ThoughtMetric fits
If what you really need is to know which channels drive new customers, a dedicated attribution tool is the better fit, and many brands run one next to a profit tracker. ThoughtMetric offers multi-touch attribution with a lookback window up to 90 days, server-side tracking and post-purchase surveys on every plan. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) Pricing is based on monthly pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, with every feature included. It is not a full P&L tool. I compared it head to head in ThoughtMetric vs TrueProfit and ThoughtMetric vs BeProfit.

What to test during the trial
Both trials run 14 days, so set your cost inputs on day one. Enter COGS for your top 20 products, connect every ad account and shipping source, and then compare a closed month’s profit in each app against your accounting. The app that comes closer to your books with less manual cleanup is the one to keep. Also check how each handles refunds and partial refunds, since that is a common source of drift.
Picking one
- Under about 450 orders a month on one store? BeProfit Basic is cheaper.
- Between roughly 900 and 1,500 orders on one store? TrueProfit Ultimate is cheaper.
- Running several stores or selling on Amazon too? BeProfit Plus usually wins.
- Want to pay annually? Only BeProfit offers it.
- Need real channel attribution rather than profit tracking? Pair either with ThoughtMetric (our sponsor) or another dedicated attribution tool.
