Campaign reporting is what most Northbeam customers actually use day to day. Media buyers open it to see which campaigns, ad sets, and ads are earning their budget under Northbeam’s attribution instead of each platform’s own. It does that well. The question is whether you need Northbeam’s modeling depth to get it, because Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, and the plans above it cost more.
For a brand spending mostly on Meta and Google with a straightforward funnel, campaign reports from an independent attribution source are the requirement. Deterministic view modeling and media mix modeling are extras. These five alternatives cover campaign reporting at different price points and depths. For the cost comparison, see is Northbeam worth it for a brand under $20M.
Triple Whale
Triple Whale is the most common step down from Northbeam. Its free plan includes the Triple Pixel with first and last click attribution, which already gives you campaign-level reporting against your own orders. Multi-touch attribution starts on Foundation, listed at $219 a month on its Shopify listing, scaling with GMV on a 12-month subscription. Its campaign views sit alongside creative reporting, which media buyers tend to like. The trade is that Triple Whale’s attribution does not model ad views with the structure Northbeam’s does.
Lebesgue
Lebesgue sells analytics and attribution separately. The analytics plans are a free tier, Ultimate at $79 a month, and Ultimate AI at $149 a month, and campaign attribution comes from Le Pixel, an add-on with revenue-based pricing on top of a paid analytics plan. Le Pixel offers first and last touch, four multi-touch models, Shapley value attribution, and Lebesgue’s own model, which is more model choice than most tools at this price. Check the Le Pixel price for your revenue band, because the combined bill is the number to compare with Northbeam.
ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric reports campaigns, ad sets, and ads across every connected channel under five attribution models with a configurable lookback window. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) The campaign view puts spend, ROAS, CAC, new-customer ROAS, and cost per new-customer order side by side, and it folds post-purchase survey answers into attribution to cover what pixels miss. Pricing is on monthly pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000, with every feature on every plan and a 14-day trial. It does not model view-through conversions the way Northbeam does, so brands with heavy upper-funnel video spend should weigh that before switching.
Polar Analytics
Polar Analytics is the option for teams that want campaign reporting inside a broader BI layer, with ad, store, and marketplace data in one place and metric definitions governed centrally. Pricing is not listed on the website, so you will need a demo to get a number. It suits a brand whose leadership wants campaign performance and the rest of the business in the same reports.
Looker Studio with Supermetrics
The low-cost reporting route, with an important caveat. Supermetrics lists its Looker Studio Starter plan at $44 a month billed yearly or $55 monthly, and Looker Studio is free, so you can build any campaign report layout you want. But the conversions and revenue come from each ad platform’s own attribution. That makes it a presentation layer rather than a replacement for what Northbeam does, which is decide credit independently. Use it for pacing reports and client decks, not budget calls.
When to stay on Northbeam
If a large share of your budget is prospecting video on Meta, YouTube, or CTV, where people see an ad and buy days later through search, Northbeam’s view modeling is doing work the cheaper tools do not. The same goes if you use its media mix modeling for planning. Switching to save money and then misreading your upper-funnel campaigns is an expensive trade. Whatever you choose, run the new tool alongside Northbeam for a full purchase cycle before cutting over, since pixel history does not transfer.
