Admetrics is a German measurement platform built around Shopify, covering tracking, multi-touch and data-driven attribution, order-level profit reporting, experimentation, and budget management. Its pricing is unusual for this category because it charges on ad spend. The pricing page lists Growth at €339 a month with €20,000 of monthly ad spend included and 1.5 percent on spend above that, Business at €764 a month with €70,000 included and 1 percent above, and custom plans from €1,100 for brands spending €100,000 or more. Annual billing is 15 percent off, and there is a 21-day trial with no credit card.
The ad-spend meter is the main reason people look around. Admetrics’ own FAQ describes its fee as typically 0.65 to 2 percent of ad spend. That is fine while spend is modest. A brand planning to scale paid aggressively will watch the bill rise with every budget increase, which is an awkward incentive for a tool whose job is telling you when more spend is working. Here are the alternatives I would compare.
1. Klar
Klar is the most direct alternative, and the comparison mostly comes down to the meter. Klar charges on your last 12 months of net revenue rather than ad spend. Core starts at €200 a month, and Core plus Attribution, which adds its first-party pixel and attribution suite, starts at €400. There is no minimum contract, a 14-day trial, and data is hosted in Europe. Klar leans further into profitability and retention reporting, including COGS and margin detail, while Admetrics leans further into budget allocation and testing. If you expect spend to grow faster than revenue, Klar’s meter will usually treat you better. I covered Klar’s own competitors in Klar alternatives.
2. Triple Whale
Triple Whale is the default comparison for US Shopify brands. It has a free plan, and its Shopify listing shows Foundation from $219 a month and Automate from $749, with the price scaling on annual GMV. Paid plans are 12-month subscriptions, where Admetrics lets you cancel any time, so factor the commitment in. You get the Triple Pixel, multi-touch attribution, creative analytics, and Moby, and MMM and incrementality come through Compass on Enterprise or as an add-on. More in best Triple Whale alternatives.
3. Tracify
Tracify is a German vendor focused on server-side tracking and its own AI behavior-based attribution model, alongside first, last, linear, and U-shape models. Its pricing page says plans start at €500 a month, scoped on a demo call. If you chose Admetrics mainly for tracking quality and EU data handling, Tracify is worth comparing. Its product is built around tracking and attribution, so check whether it covers the profit and budget features you use in Admetrics before switching.
4. Polar Analytics
Polar Analytics suits teams who want to build their own metrics and dashboards on top of store and ad data, more like a data platform than a packaged attribution tool. Its pricing is not listed on the website, so expect a demo before you see a number. It makes sense when someone on your team wants to own reporting, and less sense when you want answers without building anything.
5. ThoughtMetric
ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this blog, is the option if you mainly use Admetrics for attribution and server-side tracking and would rather pay on a meter that does not move with ad spend. It charges on pageviews, starting at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, or $83 billed annually, with every feature on every plan and a 14-day trial. It includes multi-touch attribution with five models, a configurable lookback window, post-purchase surveys, CAPI for Meta and Google, and AI Connectors for Claude and ChatGPT. Ad integrations include Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Bing, and Snapchat. If you rely on Admetrics’ budget automation, that is a separate job you would need to cover.
Picking one
- Want to stay EU-hosted but pay on revenue instead of ad spend? Klar.
- US Shopify brand that wants attribution, creative, and AI in one platform? Triple Whale.
- Chose Admetrics for tracking quality and EU data handling? Compare Tracify.
- Want to build your own reporting on a data platform? Polar Analytics.
- Mainly need attribution and want the price to stay put as spend grows? ThoughtMetric (sponsor).
- Spending well under €20,000 a month and using the testing and budget tools? Admetrics may still be the right fit.
