Sensai Metrics alternatives for Shopify analytics and predictions

Sensai Metrics sells itself as the data science team you never got to hire. It pulls from your store, Google Analytics, and your ad platforms, runs the numbers through its own models, and tries to tell you which campaigns actually drove conversions, which customer segments are worth chasing, and where your budget is quietly leaking. The Startup plan runs $79 a month, and the Pro plan is $179 and scales with your store’s monthly visits. For a small Shopify or WooCommerce store that wants predictions without hiring an analyst, that is a fair pitch.

A few things send people looking elsewhere. The app interface is still largely in Spanish and has not been fully translated, which trips up English-speaking teams more than the marketing lets on. The public review base is thin and dated, so you are trusting the product more than the crowd. And predictions are only as good as the data underneath them, which means your attribution has to be trustworthy before the forecasting is worth anything. If any of that gives you pause, here is what I would put on the shortlist.

Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the tool most DTC operators reach for when they outgrow a basic dashboard. Its own first-party pixel feeds a blended view across Meta, Google, TikTok, email, and SMS, and its Moby assistant answers plain-language questions about your numbers. There is a genuinely useful free plan, and paid tiers scale with your GMV, starting in the low couple hundred a month and climbing quickly for larger brands, usually on a twelve-month commitment. It is heavier and pricier than Sensai, but if you spend real money on ads and want attribution plus creative analysis in one place, it earns the line item.

ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this blog, sits closer to the attribution end of the spectrum than the prediction end, and for a lot of stores that is the honest need. It uses server-side tracking and post-purchase surveys to reconcile what the ad platforms claim against what actually landed in Shopify, and it reports down to the SKU. Pricing is based on monthly pageviews rather than gated features, starting at $99 a month (or $83 on annual billing), with the full platform on every tier. If your real problem is that you do not trust your channel numbers, fix that before you pay for forecasts on top of shaky data.

Lebesgue

Lebesgue is the closest like-for-like on this list. Its Henri AI plays the same role Sensai’s models do, auditing your Meta and Google campaigns for setup errors, flagging anomalies, and surfacing prioritized next steps, plus LTV and competitor benchmarks on top. It works with Shopify and WooCommerce, has a free plan, and paid tiers at $59 and $79 a month, with its Le Pixel first-party tracker as an add-on. For a small store that specifically wants the AI-consultant angle in English and with a healthier review base, this is the one I would trial first. I went deeper on it in my Lebesgue alternatives writeup.

Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics is the option for teams that want a full BI layer without standing up a warehouse. It unifies Shopify, ad platforms, email, and marketplace data into one dashboard with pre-built e-commerce metrics, and it added incrementality testing recently. Polar does not list a price on its website, so you will need a demo to get a number, and it is generally a step up in cost and scope from Sensai. Worth it if you have several stores or want one source of truth across the business, overkill if you just wanted campaign guidance.

Peel Insights

Peel Insights goes narrow and deep on cohort and retention analytics, which is where Sensai’s predictions are thinnest. If you run subscriptions or care intensely about repeat-purchase behavior, Peel’s automated cohort curves and LTV breakdowns are the best on this list. It is priced for brands with volume, running roughly $449 to $899 a month depending on your order count, and it leans behavioral rather than profit-focused (there is no accounting integration). Bring it in when retention is the question, not when you need a general dashboard.

How to choose

Match the tool to the actual gap. If you want the same AI-consultant experience Sensai promises but in English and better supported, start with Lebesgue. If the real issue is that your channel numbers do not reconcile, fix attribution first with ThoughtMetric or a blended platform like Triple Whale. If you need retention depth, Peel. And if you are quietly shopping for a company-wide BI layer, Polar is the heavier answer. Whatever you pick, verify the current price against the vendor’s own page before you commit, because the tiers on this list move around more than the aggregators keep up with.

About

Six years in e-commerce. Three Shopify stores across different niches, one scaled past seven figures. I’ve tested hundreds of ad creatives, obsessed over email flows, and learned more from my failures than my wins.

Now I focus on conversion optimization, retention marketing, and the analytics behind it all. This blog is where I share what actually works, backed by real numbers. No fluff, no guru energy.
