Best Northbeam alternatives (updated July 2026)

Updated for July 2026. The people asking me about Northbeam alternatives usually land there for one of three reasons. The commitment is steep, since there is no free trial and you are signing up for four figures a month before you have seen it run on your own data. They are below the spend level where the modeling actually earns that price. Or they hit the support wall that a few reviewers have flagged at the lower tiers. Here is what I would look at instead, depending on which of those is your problem.

Triple Whale

Triple Whale is the obvious step down in weight if you are Shopify-native. The Triple Pixel gets you attribution and a blended dashboard fast, pricing is GMV-based across Foundation, Automate, and Enterprise, and there is a free tier you can validate on before paying anything. It does not pretend to be a modeling platform the way Northbeam does, and that is the point. If you were eyeing Northbeam for the dashboard and the single-source-of-truth reporting rather than the media-mix math, Triple Whale gets you most of that for less, and you can actually try it first.

Rockerbox

Rockerbox is the closest peer to Northbeam in seriousness, and the more natural swap if your reason for leaving is not price. It is quote-only and modular, priced off the marketing spend it manages, which realistically means a mid-five-figure to six-figure annual contract. Where it pulls ahead of Northbeam is offline. If you are running TV, podcast, radio, or direct mail and want that measured in the same system as your digital spend, Rockerbox is built around that. If you are purely paid social and search, the two overlap enough that price and support experience become the deciding factors.

Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics is the pick if what drew you to Northbeam was wanting to own the data and run your own analysis. Every plan includes a dedicated Snowflake warehouse, unlimited users, and unlimited history, and it now sells incrementality testing as its own module, so you can get lift testing without buying Northbeam’s whole stack. Pricing is GMV-based, with the bundled entry landing around $720 a month for brands up to roughly $5M in GMV and the incrementality piece priced separately. It asks more of your team than Northbeam does, but you get a real data platform rather than a closed box.

ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric is the value answer, and since I run it on my own stores and it sponsors this site, take that into account. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric is a sponsor.) It is pageview-based at $99 a month for up to 50,000 pageviews, with every feature in every tier and no sales call to see a price. It will not do Northbeam’s media-mix modeling or incrementality, so if that math is genuinely the reason you were shopping Northbeam, this is not a like-for-like swap. But if you were about to spend $1,500 a month mostly for clean multi-touch attribution and cross-channel reporting, ThoughtMetric does that specific job at a fraction of the cost and supports WooCommerce and BigCommerce alongside Shopify.

Hyros

Hyros is worth naming because it solves a problem Northbeam is not built for. Its tracked-revenue pricing starts around $230 a month billed annually for up to $20k tracked, with a Shopify-only track from about $69 and higher tiers climbing toward $1,499, all gated behind a demo. The reason to consider it over Northbeam is a long, high-touch funnel with calls, webinars, and email sequences, plus call tracking. For a high-spend DTC brand buying across Meta, Google, and TikTok, Northbeam is the better fit. For a business where the sale takes weeks and involves a human on the phone, Hyros follows that path better.

Picking between these

  • Wanted the dashboard more than the modeling, and you are on Shopify? Triple Whale, and use the free tier first.
  • Need Northbeam-level seriousness plus offline channels? Rockerbox.
  • Want to own your data and add incrementality as a module? Polar Analytics.
  • Mostly needed clean multi-touch attribution without the four-figure commitment? ThoughtMetric.
  • Long funnel with calls and webinars? Hyros.

If your decision narrows to ThoughtMetric against Northbeam specifically, I broke down the trade-offs in ThoughtMetric vs Northbeam.

About

Six years in e-commerce. Three Shopify stores across different niches, one scaled past seven figures. I’ve tested hundreds of ad creatives, obsessed over email flows, and learned more from my failures than my wins.

Now I focus on conversion optimization, retention marketing, and the analytics behind it all. This blog is where I share what actually works, backed by real numbers. No fluff, no guru energy.
