Triple Whale alternatives for Reddit ads

To be fair up front: Triple Whale integrates with Reddit Ads, pulls Reddit spend and campaigns, and can send enriched conversions to Reddit’s Conversions API through Sonar. So this isn’t about missing support. Brands look elsewhere for the usual reasons, like GMV-based pricing, a Shopify-only setup, or wanting a lighter tool. Reddit adds its own wrinkle. Much of its influence happens without a click: people read a thread, then search your brand days later.

So for a Reddit-heavy brand, a native integration helps, but surveys matter more than usual. Here’s how I’d rank the alternatives. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric, ranked second, sponsors this site.)

1. Northbeam

Northbeam has a native Reddit Ads integration that pulls spend and platform-reported clicks, and it can backfill up to a year of spend when you connect. Reddit currently supports Northbeam’s clicks-only model, with a tracking parameter added to each ad. Starter is listed from $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads, month to month for Shopify brands. Professional is $3,500 a month on annual terms and adds support for any e-commerce platform.

2. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this site, doesn’t list Reddit among its native ad integrations, but it supports custom channels and reads UTMs at the campaign and content level, so Reddit gets its own line next to Meta and Google. Post-purchase survey answers feed the attribution model, which is where Reddit’s research-then-search influence tends to show up. It’s an e-commerce attribution tool for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom stores. Pricing starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, with every feature on every plan.

3. Elevar

Elevar, now sold as Audiense Online, lists Reddit among its server-side advertising destinations, which gives Reddit’s optimization better conversion data. It doesn’t do cross-channel attribution, so pair it with a tool above. Base is free up to 100 orders a month, Core is $225 up to 2,000, and Advanced is $650 up to 10,000.

4 and 5. Fairing or KnoCommerce

Add Reddit as an answer option and follow up with ad or post. Survey share for Reddit often runs well ahead of click share. Fairing is free up to 200 orders a month and $49 up to 500. KnoCommerce starts at $19 a month, with Analyst at $119 and Pro at $299.

Getting Reddit tracking right

Use utm_source=reddit on every ad, with campaign values that match Reddit campaign names exactly. Keep the Reddit pixel and set up the Conversions API for Reddit’s bidding. Watch for organic threads mentioning your brand, since a popular post can look like ad lift. And track branded search when campaigns start and stop. More in do attribution tools work with Reddit ads, UTM structure for Shopify, and the main Triple Whale alternatives list.

FAQs

Does Triple Whale support Reddit ads?

Yes. It has a native Reddit Ads integration and can send enriched conversions to Reddit through Sonar. Brands switch for other reasons.

Why does Reddit look weak in my attribution tool?

Because many Reddit buyers research in a thread and buy later through search. Click-based models give that sale to branded search.

Which tools integrate natively with Reddit?

Triple Whale and Northbeam both do. ThoughtMetric, our sponsor, tracks Reddit as a custom channel with UTMs.

Should I keep the Reddit pixel?

Yes. Reddit’s bidding depends on it. Your attribution tool is for cross-channel budget decisions.

How to choose

  • Choose Northbeam for a native Reddit integration inside a large multi-channel setup.
  • Choose ThoughtMetric (our sponsor) for UTM-based Reddit tracking plus surveys at a published price.
  • Add Elevar to send better conversion data to Reddit.
  • Add Fairing or KnoCommerce to catch the Reddit influence clicks miss.
