The Best Attribution Tools for Party Supply Brands

Party supply brands sell against a deadline. Someone has a birthday, a graduation, a baby shower, or Halloween coming up, they search or browse Pinterest for a theme, and they buy within days because shipping has to arrive in time. Demand moves with the calendar and with trends, so last month’s best-selling theme can disappear. Orders are mid-sized, and the repeat customer is often a parent who comes back once a year for the next birthday.

The tools that work here are inexpensive, handle Pinterest and search well, and report by theme. Here’s my ranking. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric, ranked first, sponsors this site.)

1. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this site, integrates natively with Pinterest and Google Ads, plus Meta, TikTok, and Bing, which covers how most party shoppers find themes. Product-level reporting shows which channels sell which themes, so you can shift budget as trends move. Post-purchase surveys feed the attribution model. It’s an e-commerce attribution tool for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom stores, starting at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews with every feature included.

2. Triple Whale

Triple Whale has a free plan with first and last click attribution and a standard post-purchase survey, a reasonable start for a small Shopify party shop. Multi-touch attribution and product analytics come with Foundation, listed from $219 a month on its Shopify listing and priced by annual GMV.

3. Lifetimely

Lifetimely by AMP shows how many customers return for the next event and how long that takes, which is often about a year. It also tracks profit after shipping, which matters when rush delivery eats margin. It’s free up to 50 orders a month, $49 up to 500, and $149 up to 3,000. It’s Shopify only.

4. Elevar

Elevar, now sold as Audiense Online, sends server-side conversions to Google, Pinterest, and other platforms, which helps Shopping and Pinterest bidding during short seasonal windows. It’s Shopify-focused tracking, not attribution reporting. Base is free up to 100 orders a month and Core is $225 up to 2,000.

5. Fairing

Fairing can ask two useful questions at checkout: how you heard about us, and what the occasion is. The second gives you an event calendar to plan next year’s campaigns. It’s free up to 200 orders a month.

What party supply brands should measure

Report by theme and occasion, not just by channel, because a theme’s lifecycle matters more than a channel’s average. Compare seasonal peaks like Halloween and graduation with the same window last year. Track profit after shipping, especially for rush orders. And use 12-month repeat rate to value customers, since many come back once a year for the next birthday. See attribution tools for Pinterest ads, Google Ads tracking tools, and attribution tools for toy and game brands.

FAQs

How do I measure seasonal party campaigns?

Compare each peak with the same peak last year, and look at results by theme so trend shifts don’t get blamed on channels.

Is Pinterest worth it for party supplies?

Often, because people plan themes there. Use a tool with a native Pinterest integration and add Pinterest to your survey to see its full effect.

How should I value a party supply customer?

Over 12 months, since many return for the next event. First-order ROAS will understate good channels.

What’s the cheapest setup?

Triple Whale’s free plan and Fairing’s free tier, or ThoughtMetric, which sponsors this site, at $99 a month with surveys included.
