TrackBee alternatives for Shopify server-side tracking

TrackBee is a server-side tracking app built for Shopify. It captures conversions your browser pixels lose to ad blockers, iOS, and consent banners, enriches them with first-party data, and sends them to Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads, ChatGPT Ads, GA4, Klaviyo, and a few others. It runs alongside your existing pixels and deduplicates events.

Pricing is based on tracked revenue, which is the main reason people start looking around. Start is €79 a month with €25K of tracked revenue included, Pro is €199 with €100K included, Scale is €449 with €500K included, and Advanced is custom, all excluding VAT, with overage charged per €1K tracked. There is a 30-day free trial with no card. TrackBee Insights, which connects your data to Claude or ChatGPT, is €19.99 a month on top. It is Shopify only.

If revenue-based billing, the Shopify limit, or the lack of channel-level attribution is the issue, here are five alternatives.

1. wetracked.io

The closest like-for-like swap. wetracked.io tracks server-side, stitches sessions, enriches the data, and forwards it to Meta, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Google Ads. The key difference is the billing base: it charges by orders, not revenue. Starter is $49 a month for up to 500 orders and three stores, Business is $149 for 3,000 orders, and Scale-up is $249 for 7,500. It supports WooCommerce and several checkout tools as well as Shopify, and offers a 14-day trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee. High-AOV brands usually come out ahead on order-based pricing.

2. Elevar

Elevar is the heavier-duty option for Shopify brands that care about data layer quality and GA4 as much as ad platform signal. Essentials is $200 a month for 1,000 orders, Growth is $450 for 10,000, and Business is $950 for 50,000, with per-order overage. Elevar only counts orders actually sent to server-side destinations. It costs more than TrackBee at small volume, but the order allowances get generous as you grow.

3. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric is not a like-for-like tracking app. It is a multi-touch attribution tool. (Disclosure: ThoughtMetric sponsors this site.) I include it because a lot of brands buy TrackBee hoping to answer “which channels are working,” and better signal to each ad platform does not answer that. Every platform still grades itself. ThoughtMetric runs its own pixel, credits each sale once across channels, adds post-purchase surveys, and sends conversion data back to Meta and Google through their conversion APIs. It supports Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, and custom stores, and pricing starts at $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews.

4. Littledata

Littledata has been doing Shopify server-side tracking longer than most, with a strong GA4 and subscription focus and connections to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Klaviyo. Its Shopify App Store listing shows a pay-as-you-go option at $0.35 per tracked order, with other plans on its pricing page. It is a good fit if GA4 accuracy matters to your reporting.

5. Stape

Stape sells server-side Google Tag Manager hosting and gateways rather than a finished app. Its pricing page includes a free plan up to 10,000 requests a month, with paid tiers that scale by request volume. It is the cheapest route if you or your agency can build and maintain a server container, and the most work if you cannot. Pricing by requests also means you pay for traffic, not orders or revenue.

Before you switch

Server-side tools touch the events your campaigns optimize on, so swapping one mid-quarter can unsettle delivery. Run the new tool alongside the old one for at least a week, check that purchase counts in Ads Manager line up with Shopify, and confirm deduplication is working before you turn the old one off. Avoid switching in the weeks right before Black Friday. More on that in what to fix in your attribution before Black Friday.
